Making your own Bivy Bag - Images

I have included images of my own bag separately from the construction details. Your's will not be exactly the same but it will give you the general ideas.

Finished Bag

This shows the finished bag with a Thermarest Pro-Lite 3 mat for scale. The hood is shown on the right.

The hood has now been fully stretched out to show how big the overlap is.

Stitching - on the body

This image clearly shows the stitching. To the left of the picture you can see a single line of stitching - which is the second and final stitch line. To the right you can see two lines of stitching which shows the original stitch line (that was done before the edge was folded over) and the final stitch line.

Top Tube / Bag Closure

These two pictures show how the cord goes into the tube on the top of the bag and is then stitched at the exit points into the hem.
